Data Deletion Request

FluffyVision lets you delete your data without deleting your entire account. This page explains your options and how to request deletion.

Delete data inside the app (no account loss)

You can remove specific items directly in the FluffyVision app at any time:

  • Pet profiles — Open the pet, tap the menu (⋮) in the top right, tap Delete pet. This permanently removes the pet and all of its photos, care entries, AI insights, food logs, and vet records.

  • Individual photos — Open the photo in your pet's gallery, tap the menu (⋮), tap Delete photo.

  • Care entries, food logs, vet visits, training entries — Open the entry, tap the menu (⋮), tap Delete.

  • Reminders — Open the reminder, tap Delete reminder.

Items deleted in the app are removed from our servers within 24 hours and from our backups within 30 days.

Request data deletion by email

If you would prefer that we delete some or all of your data on your behalf, email us at mickey@fluffyvision.com with the subject line "Data deletion request" and include:

  • The email address on your FluffyVision account

  • What you want deleted, for example:

    • "All my data" (full account erasure)

    • "All photos but keep my account and pet profiles"

    • "Just the pet named Rex"

    • "All food log entries before June 2025"

We respond to deletion requests within 30 days, usually within 3 business days.

Delete your entire account

To delete your account and all associated data:

  1. Open FluffyVision and go to Settings.

  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete account.

  3. Re-enter your password to confirm. Your account and all associated data are deleted immediately, with backup purging completed within 30 days.

What we keep, and why

We may retain limited information after deletion if required by law or for fraud prevention:

  • Tax and payment records linked to past subscriptions (kept up to 7 years as required by US tax law)

  • Records of past abuse, fraud, or security investigations (kept up to 3 years)

This retained data is not used for any other purpose, is not shared with advertisers, and cannot be used to re-identify you in the app.
